It's the biggest shopping event of the year and with just over a week to go until Black Friday 2022, Amazon has confirmed it's dates. We've already seen a handful of price drops from the retail giant, but shoppers can expect even more from early midnight this Friday, November 18.
The global Black Friday date falls on November 25 this year as thousands of retailers offer up discounted prices in the lead up before Christmas. In the last week we've already seen brands give shoppers a sneak peak at reduced prices, including Samsung, Go Outdoors, Vodafone and Shark.
Amazon hasn't been far from the pre Black Friday anticipation either as it has launched some major tech discounts in the last few days, including a handful of Samsung and Apple's latest 2022 releases. But we now know prices will be drop even further as the retailer starts its 2022 Black Friday a week before the official date.

Shoppers have until late tomorrow evening or early Friday morning (however way you see it) to grab some of the first deals, in what's expected to include some of the biggest savings. In the last couple of days there have been particular items proving to be in high-demand this Black Friday, with items like air fryers selling out within minutes.
This Amazon Choice air fryer from Cosori is currently £109.99 will likely be on offer, as the first items to be discounts are Amazon own products like the Echo Dot and Kindles to Amazon Choice products.
The retailer is expected to make the biggest price drops between midnight and 6am this Friday as part of Amazon's Lightning Deals, which is a section of the site notorious for posting deals as soon as they go live but for a limited period of time.
Lightning deals refresh each day, so what's available Friday may not been in stock come next week. Shoppers can have a look at the section, here, and keep their eyes on anything that they may want to buy come early Friday, November 18.
The site will also be split into other deal sections from recommended deals based off of previous shopping habits, to categorised items in beauty, home, kitchen and of course tech, which has proven to be a top contender this Black Friday already.
With big sale events like Black Friday shoppers should also be aware of the added risks of losing money on 'deals'. We'd reccomend using the price history tracker CamelCamelCamel to see if the deals dropping this Black Friday are actually the cheapest yet, or not.
We tested it out on this Shark Upright Vaccuum Cleaner which was listed as a seemingly good deal with a saving of £152.62 to take the price down to £197.37. However, even though it's listed (on Wednesday November 16) as one of Amazon's top deals it's not the cheapest price yet. In 2021 shoppers could buy it for £164.01.
