Where can I get Potent Trap in Wizard101? ›

Bosses such asCronus (Tartarus), Gladiator Dimachaerus(Aquila), Fuego Spirit&Malakeen Moondrinkerare good sources for the TC. The latter bosses are found in Azteca and are among the easiest to farm.

Potent Trap

This is a difficult Treasure Card to get, but Aztecan bosses have a chance at dropping this card. You can quest through Azteca and check your loot. Otherwise, pick bosses, like the Caiman, to farm.

Potent Trap TC is a NO Trade and NO Auction item.

Sharpened Blade & Potent Trap

These are amazing and life saving spells obtained from Azteca's Sun School Trainer at level 86 upon completing the quest “Turn Up the Sun”. They can be used combined with your regular charms and wards.

The portal to the secret shop is right beside some shops and there is a water well right in front of the shops. The portal is in the corner. It only lets you port when all the lights on the pillars light up to the top so you need to just keep coming back and checking on it or try changing realms.

To start your Zafari crafting quest ( witch is a pain ) you must help the lion get his goods back and complete his ( easy ) side quest ( just talk to him in baobab market. ) after that he should have the quest for you. Good Luck ( you'll need it )!

If you're past level 90: the Gladiator, Cronus and Hades in Aquila also drop this Treasure Card. Ra TC: can be bought in the Bazaar (94 available at 1200 gold a piece when I checked)

For Turquoise; Bought - Turquoise is occasionally available at the Bazaar. They are usually within limited amounts and more on the expensive side. Fishing - If you fish, they can be found in fishing chests in the Nomad's Camp.

Gargantuan treasure card

Being that trading Gargantuan tc is not allowed and you have to be lvl 58 to buy it, it is tricky to obtain it. What you need to do is complete the crafting quests till Celestia and obtain the Grandmaster Artisan badge.

Where can I buy Loremaster TC? ›

Grady in Avalon, The Wyrd, Instance Dun Scaith. Once you have fought the creature there, you will always be able to get around it to Grady. To purchase the Loremaster spell (trainable / treasure card recipe) to craft, you have to speak to Grady in Avalon after defeating the Indigo Giant.

Regardless of level, if you are nearly finished with Azteca, farm Malakeen Moondrinker. He's located in the Zocalo (making it easy to step outside for health and mana). He's Myth with Death mastery, but no cheats and only one mob if you solo. Usually he'll drop the Potent Trap within 3-5 battles.

There are also universals, like balance blade, feint, curse, hex, dragon blade, which will stack with anything. You can build up some big hits by combining buffs, but be warry of enemies that can remove or steal them. Your very first blade and trap do not stack, since they're the same blades.

You can't train blades/traps until you get to the Krokosphinx in Krokotopia. You learn them with training points if you aren't Balance. Shields are only learned by Balance students or used from Treasure Cards or pets/items. Re: where can i train?

To train life trap you need to visit Mildred Farseer in her house on Colossus boulevard. Mildred's house is at the bottom of a ramp leading down from the street intersection where Mindy Pixiecrown stands. Later on there are a few other spells Mindy can teach you, such as reshuffle and dispels for all the schools.

Marley in Mooshu sells the spell. You need to be level 4 gardener.
