Even for a family known for splashing out on the most extravagant luxuries like the Kardashians, their houses make up a hefty portion of their spending. But whether you love America’s most-followed family or hate them, it’s hard to deny that their mansions are rather enviable. Here then are the most expensive cribs that the Kardashian-Jenner family members call home in 2022.
1. Kim and Kanye West’s Hidden Hills mansion – US$60 million
Before their divorce, Kim and West bought multiple homes together to cater for their expanding family. Possibly the most famous of the collection – and expensive – is their Hidden Hills abode, said to be worth US$60 million.
The couple bought it for US$20 million in 2014 and took nearly six years to renovate it with designer Axel Vervoordt. They even added a US$3 million neighbouring ranch to expand their plot for security purposes, per Love Property.
2. Kylie’s Holmby Hills mansion – US$36.5 million
According to House Digest, Kylie owns five estates in California – the most in the family – thanks to the success of her Kylie Cosmetics brand, but the priciest mansion is a US$36.5 million Holmby Hills pad. The 15,350 sq ft space has seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, and comes complete with a spa, pool, fireplace, outdoor cinemas and sports facilities, per Architectural Digest.
3. Kris’ Hidden Hills mansion – US$20 million
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Kardashian matriarch shelled out a whopping US$20 million for her 16,000 sq ft home next to daughter Khloé. And if we know anything about momma bear, it’s that she isn’t afraid to flaunt her wealth, sparing no expense on its design and furnishings, with even a “dedicated green vegetables” fridge. The space was once occupied by a house owned by Britney Spears.
4. Khloé’s neighbouring Hidden Hills crib – US$17 million
A dreamy home for Khloé and daughter True, this Hidden Hills splurge is handily sat right next to “momager” Kris’ house. Besides its backyard pool and lush greenery, there’s a home gym where the Revenge Body host can workout at her leisure and a spacious kitchen where she can tuck into delicious goodies from her gigantic pantry, per Life & Style.
5. Kylie’s Hidden Hills estate – US$15 million
Kylie reportedly bought a plot previously owned by Miley Cyrus for US$15 million in cash in 2020, per Variety. The 18,000 sq ft not-so-humble home she has since built features a 12-car garage, barn, sports court and a pool.
6. Kim’s second Wyoming ranch – US$14.5 million
As if one ranch wasn’t enough, the former Kardashian-Wests bought a second home in Wyoming – the Bighorn Mountain Ranch – for US$14.5 million in 2019, per Love Property. The countryside estate lies about 80km from their first ranch and includes 10 cabins spread across three luxurious camps, all oriented on celebrating the great outdoors and with plenty of space for their staff and guests to come along.
7. Kylie’s Beverly Hills mansion – US$13.5 million
Kylie bought this sprawling home for US$13.5 million in 2018 together with Travis Scott, baby daddy to her kids, Storm and Wolf. According to Bravo TV, the Beverly Hills estate was split between the two millionaires and offers gorgeous grounds for entertaining.
8. Kylie’s second Hidden Hills home – US$12 million
In 2019, the world was invited to explore Kylie’s Hidden Hills abode, via Architectural Digest.
The design mixes glitter galore with Hollywood influences old and new, and there’s even furniture custom-dyed to reflect the reality star’s lipstick collection.
9. Kris’ secluded desert retreat – US$12 million
Although they famously spend most of their time in the spotlight, the Kardashian-Jenners do enjoy a bit of peace and quiet too it seems. Kris has taken that on board by purchasing a US$12 million secluded mansion out in La Quinta, a desert resort area of California. The seven-bedroom stunner sprawls over 14,000 sq ft of gorgeous interiors with expansive outdoor space fit for a – very wealthy – growing family.
10. Kourtney and Travis Barker’s Palm Springs getaway – US$12 million
The newlywed couple have splashed out a pretty penny on a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home, also in the desert, just a 30-minue drive from Kris’ place and spacious enough for their shared five children from previous relationships.
11. Kendall’s Beverly Hills home – US$8.5 million
The supermodel lives with her two dogs at a Spanish-inspired home in Mulholland Estates, equipped with five bedrooms, six baths, an art studio and pool.
12. Kourtney’s Calabasas home – US$8.5 million
Next door to neighbour-now-husband Barker, the Poosh founder’s Calbasas home spreads over 12,000 sq ft of real estate heaven, complete with six bedrooms, a home cinema and spa, per Love Property.
13. Kim’s Hidden Hills ‘buffer’ home – US$6.3 million
The Skims founder just splashed out on a “buffer” home, next door to the mansion from her previous marriage with West, even paying well over the odds for the privilege. Who knows, perhaps this is prep for something bigger with new beau Pete Davidson.
14. The Kardashian family home, as seen on KUWTK – US$4 million
Last but not least, made famous through the reality show that brought the Kardashians themselves into the limelight, the OG Calabasas Kardashian home we all know will remain an icon for the family. Although Kris still technically owns the plot (but is probably quite happy in her new abode described above), it was reported by Love Property that she handed it down to her son, Rob, around 2019.
15. Kylie’s plot in La Quinta – US$3.5 million
The star’s cheapest property is an undeveloped plot located in Coachella Valley, in La Quinta’s Madison Club, bought in 2019, per LA Times. As yet there is little much known about plans for the site.
