This claim was later expanded to There are 221,184 possible ways for a customer to order a Whopper sandwich. Other slogans include It takes two hands to handle a Whopper and Burger King: Home of the Whopper. Where's Herb? was an advertising campaign for the sandwich from 1985 to 1986 designed by J. Walter Thompson.

As part of the Million Dollar Whopper Contest, Burger King is asking guests to submit the ingredients of their dream Whopper sandwich for a chance to win a $1 million prize and their creations sold at the fast-food chain nationwide for a limited time.
